Jillian Hartin is currently the senior nurse for the UCLH Patient Emergency Response and Resuscitation Team (PERRT -  a combination of critical care outreach and resuscitation teams). Prior to this Jillian worked within the UCLH critical care outreach service, having held previous nursing positions in critical care units and wards within England, Northern Ireland, Belgium and Australia.
Jillian’s work within PERRT has included
- developing strategies to maximise learning from cardiac arrest and failure to rescue incidents, including development of a cardiac arrest analysis tool for use within a structured, interdisciplinary review of the event
- supporting clinicians in end of life care, including development of the “Talking DNACPR” (interprofessionally developed and delivered high fidelity simulation course for Do Not Attempt Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation conversations and decisions)
PERRT is the best team that Jillian has had the pleasure to work in.
