Anne Lippert is Deputy Director of the Danish Institute for Medical Simulation. She is trained as a specialist in anaesthesiology with subspecialty in Intensive Care Medicine (1994). She has been involved with simulation training for more 20 years and has been part of the development of the current largest institute for simulation in Denmark (DIMS).

DIMS is the centre for simulation-based training in the Capital Region of Denmark The main objective for the Danish Institute for Medical Simulation is developing healthcare education and simulation-based training to improve patient safety. Anne holds a Certificate in Health Professions Education from the University of Dundee (2010).

Anne has worked with Rapid Response Systems for many years and has been the author of Guidelines for the introduction of RRS in Denmark as well as a member of the Regional board for RRS. She was chair of the organising committee for the 5th Symposium on Rapid Response Systems, which was held in Copenhagen in 2009.

Anne is a co-author of the consensus paper from the 2nd consensus conference on Rapid Response Systems. She is now a member of the Steering Committee in the Capital Region of Denmark for the implementation of a regional Early Warning System and is a supervisor of research within this area.
